A Day in the Life
As a Legal Counsel, you will be a key business partner, providing practical and pragmatic legal solutions and proactively managing risks. Reporting to the Senior Legal Manager, you will be integral to supporting our business objectives across all divisions.
In this role, you will:
1. Provide strategic legal counsel on a wide range of corporate legal matters to ensure compliant and successful business operations.
2. Manage all aspects of contracts by drafting, reviewing, and supporting negotiations to protect
the company's interests.
3. Oversee dispute resolution, handling litigation, claims, and other legal conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
4. Ensure regulatory compliance by monitoring changes in key legal areas such as cosmetics, data privacy, fair trade and mutual cooperation, and advising the business accordingly.
We Are Looking For
We are looking for a legal professional who not only provides expert advice but also takes the initiative to drive solutions. You are a great fit if you are proactive in identifying potential risks and are driven to navigate complex legal landscapes with practical and solution-oriented approaches. You have:
1. Proven Experience: You have substantial experience (4+ years) in a law firm or in-house legal department, with a strong track record in corporate advising, contract review, and dispute management.
2. Qualified Korean Attorney: You are admitted to the Korean Bar.
3. Entrepreneurial Spirit: You are a self-starter who thinks like a business owner, proactively identifying issues and opportunities.
4. Business Acumen: You understand business challenges and can translate legal complexities into actionable advice.
5. Stakeholder Management: You excel at building relationships and collaborating effectively with diverse teams and departments.
